- The Allied Health department provides essential services in acute, sub-acute and community focused services including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Nutrition, Pastoral Care, Podiatry, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Psychology, Music Therapy and Audiology. Allied Health incorporates specialist services such as the Family Safety Team, Disability Liaison service, LGBTIQA+ liaisons, and COVID navigators.
- Allied Health supports the patient and treating teams including medicine and nursing to provide best care. Our teams are integral to the multifaceted everyday operations of The Royal Melbourne across City and Royal Park campuses.

**Your new role:
- Work closely with the Director of Allied Health to meet deadlines, facilitate meetings and events, and coordinate schedules
- Communicate on behalf of and at the direction of the Director of Allied Health
- Partner with the Allied Health Management team to facilitate daily operations in Allied Health
- Build your career profile through exposure to Allied Health operations

**About you**:

- You have experience in a fast paced work environment, either as a health care provider or in an administrative role.
- You are highly organised with exceptional administrative skills including the use of Microsoft suit of programs
- You are an effective communicator both verbally and written
- You have strong attention to detail and a task focused approach
- You demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and respond efficiently to the needs of the team
