Baked for Sofia Pty Ltd and its associated ‘Little Sister’ bakeries are experiencing an exciting growth phase. **We’re seeking dedicated and skilled Bakers**to join our thriving wholesale and retail bakery operation.

**About the Role**:
As a Baker on our team, you’ll be responsible for:

- Producing artisanal bread and high-quality pastry items for retail and wholesale customers.
- Hands-on production, including mixing, hand molding, and oven operation.
- Following production schedule, Managing stock, and inventory.
- Ensuring quality control, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.
- Contributing to the development of new recipes and products when applicable.
- Early morning & Morning shifts to suit the demands of fresh daily production.

**About You**:

- Have at least three years of experience in commercial or retail baking.
- Possess strong mixing, hand molding, and machine operation skills.
- Are reliable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Have meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Ideally, have experience in sourdough production and previous pastry experience (highly regarded but not essential).
- Live within a 35-minute drive of Braeside and have reliable transport.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Braeside, VIC 3195: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Baking: 3 years (preferred)
- Pastry: 1 year (preferred)
- Sourdough production: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License (preferred)

Work Location: In person
