The Opportunity
Fernbank Retirement Living is a well-established community set over 10 acres of well-manicured and tranquil gardens and is conveniently located in Sydney's Upper North Shore. Our small hospitality team is growing and we are looking for fun and friendly Food & Beverage staff to join our team to deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. Our Food & Beverage team staff complete a wide range of front-of-house and back-of-house tasks where you will enjoy connecting with residents dining in our restaurant, but also enjoy spending time in the kitchen completing some food prep
This is a Part-time contract, working;
Monday - 11:30 to 20:30
Thursday - 17:00 to 20:00
Friday - 9:00 to 15:30

You will
- Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents during lunch or dinner service times
- Assist in the daily preparation of meals, kitchen hand assistance, and Barista experience is a bonus
- Assist with the delivery of food & beverages
- Assist with morning teas, afternoon teas and happy hours
- Complete the setup and pack down of the restaurant
- Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up)

What you'll bring
- A friendly and warm persona with a passion for building relationships and chatting with residents
- Experience in a fast-paced hospitality, restaurant or customer service environment (highly regarded)
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
