**The Position**

We are seeking 'Expressions of Interest' from enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who have a positive attitude, great customer service skills and a love of nature to join our service team.

As the Food and Beverage Attendant, you will play an integral role in the delivery of exceptional service to our guests. Being a seasonal business, the team is small during downturn but increases during season. You will be pivotal in food & beverage service, purchase orders etc and will need to be able to work autonomously.

This includes liaising with the Food and Beverage Team Leader, Resort Manager and Chefs to:

- serve customers at the onsite bar, restaurant and cafe;
- coffee making;
- wait tables;
- service of alcohol;
- ensure all facilities in the cafe, bar and restaurant comply with health and safety regulations, are clean and presentable;
In addition to this you will be required to:

- adhere to company and regulatory food safety standards

As this is a small seasonal resort property, assisting in other areas from time to time may be required.

**To succeed you will have**
- Exceptional spoken english
- Barista Certificate, Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Preferably completed your apprenticeship or relevant certificates in hospitality with a focus on front of house operations.
- Good knowledge of kitchen operations, safe food handling and OHS
- Have good personal hygiene
- Be trustworthy, honest and ethical.
- Have a bias towards wellness, the natural environment and healthy, wholesome food
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Able to take constructive criticism
- Be motivated to doing what it takes to complete the job successfully
- Hold a current National Police Check

**Other**

Lake St Clair Lodge is located in central Tasmania, approximately 2.5 hours from Hobart (_note: this is also where nearest shops are located_). Located on the shores of Australias deepest lake inside the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, the property has a long history and is an ideal stop for day travellers to/from the west coast, as well as weekend or overnight escapes for couples and families.

Due to our location, this role would not be suitable for anyone with school aged children. Having your own car would also be an asset to your enjoyment and living within this globally significant area.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
