**About the role**:
Are you looking for a role where you can start your insurance career? Or perhaps looking to move into a corporate role and discover what career options are available to you? Our Workers Compensation division at GB is looking for a Digital Processing Officer to join the team - start a career with a progressive, inclusive, and exciting global organization

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation and mail (digital and physical) relating to the processing of Work Cover claims is processed in a timely, accurate manner. You’ll also oversee the allocation of documents within Work Cover systems, in order to meet our client’s record keeping requirements.

This is a fantastic position to begin your learning journey relating to claims handling where you can learn about our industry and the impact we have on our community in the work we do every day to support injured workers and employers.

**Responsibilities**:
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Allocating incoming documents to the correct Work Cover claim, and completing document classification for different types of documents in our claims system
- Escalating issues directly to our third-party uploading company and Work Cover authority
- Filtering and forwarding required inboxes to for scanning within the required timeframes
- Managing incoming/outgoing mail
- Communicating with various people within the Claims Team relating to claims documentation

Qualifications:

We are looking for motivated and inquisitive individual, ready to start an exciting career with our team We are also looking for:

- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
- Great tech and computer skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administrative or Mail Clerk position will be ideal however not essential for your success
