- Busy practice with established patient base and referrers.
- Work alongside Dietitian, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Exercise Physiologist and Practice Nurse.
- On-site Oesophageal Manometry, 24 hr pH Studies, Hydrogen Breath Testing, Fibroscan and Pelvic Floor Studies (Anorectal Manometry & Ultrasound, EMG and Rectal Expulsion test).
- Friendly and compassionate staff and practitioners.
- Beautiful beachside location.
- Cloud based software.

**The Role**:
Locum Sessional Gastroenterology consultation and endoscopy to cover leave in busy multidisciplinary Gastroenterology Practice with an established patient base.

The Consultant Gastroenterologist will have access to a Day Surgery and Private Hospitals.
- Fill in for Principal Gastroenterologist from mid-Febuary to mid-April with the possibility to stay at the practice and work alongside him upon his return.
- Existing theatre lists with anaesthetic cover.
- Available allied health service and in house testing to be utilised for positive patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Be passionate about delivering patient centred care.
- Communicate effectively with other clinicians (Dietitian, Allied Health, Gastroenterologists, Practice Nurse as well as other members of the patient’s care team outside of the practice).
- Have medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Undergraduate medical qualification as a first degree is essential - MBBS, MD, or equivalent.
- Appropriate specialty qualifications such as Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent is essential
- Current Police and Working with Children History Check
