**NR Regional Allocations Manager - Brisbane Airport**

Due to an internal promotion, Hanson Australia is seeking a new leader to join our business.
Within this role, you will be responsible for the day to day management of Hanson’s Allocations operation in 1 of 4 large regions.
This position manages an Allocations team to best practice standards and ensures the optimisation of the regional metropolitan logistics fleet.
We are looking for a leader to explore and implement continuous business improvement initiatives and to resolve any regional issues and determine, propose and implement solutions based on best customer and internal requirements.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Be a key conduit in communications between the Customer Service Division and the regional management team.
- Lead a team to manage truck utilisation/on-time delivery performance to agreed level and ensuring consistency with market/product strategies.
- Support and promote National Customer Service Division initiatives within Regional Management team.
- Full ownership of order-taking, allocations and pre-planning for the region within the Customer Service Division

***_Daily liaison with key functional stakeholders:_

Sales - ensure customer priorities are understood and serviced appropriately. Direct any expected lateness to lower priority customers.
Production - ensure plants are available at peak times, scheduling maintenance/downtime around quiet times/days.
Transport - ensure availability of fleet.
General - escalation of performance issue/s to respective Regional Management team member with agreement of corrective actions.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, influencing, building credibility and a strong reputation.
- Manage through people, the optimisation of regional logistics fleets therefore, increasing volume, on time delivery and truck utilisation whilst reducing costs of logistics operations.
- Prepare and implement continuous business improvement initiatives with regional and national teams.

**What you need to be successful**:

- 3+ years’ experience in a similar industry managing a team
- Concrete Operations knowledge or related industry experience, including: plant processes, batching sequences, delivery processes
- Good Microsoft Office Suite Skills
- Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- SAP systems experience
- Excellence relationship management and leadership skills
- Strong Problem Solving skills
- Good presentation skills
