**Role Description**

The Data and Surveillance Support roleworks within the Loddon-Mallee Public Health Unitand supports integrated intelligence and surveillance activities across the PHU (Communicable Disease, Environmental Health, Population Health) and across the surveillance continuum, ranging from data generation (collection and analysis) to data use (interpretation and response).?-
Reporting to the Data and Surveillance Coordinator, the Data and Surveillance Support will be responsible for range of data-related functions that includes active enhanced datacollection, data management and implementation of processes to maintain data qualityin relation to Communicable disease management including case recording and outbreak management. This includes the review of notifications, liaising with doctors, health services and other internal and external stakeholders to enable the collection and reporting of high quality routine and enhanced surveillance data.This role will contribute to delivery of a resilient and sustainable place based public health response with a focus on data integrity, measuring and delivering outcomes, and working collaboratively with the Department of Health and other key government and non-governmental partners.???**Bendigo Health**
