**The Opportunity**

This is a fantastic opportunity for a first-time consultancy mover to work in the commercial/government space and have one-on-one training with the Director, particularly regarding risk management. This position would be a great stepping-stone role for you to learn more about risk management and gain further professional development which is supported by the business.

This is a flexible-working business, typically with 3 days a week in the office and great work-life balance regarding work hours. Other government benefits such as flexi-time is also available.

**The Role**

Reporting into the Head of the Division, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting in the development of the strategic internal audit plan that supports the enterprise risk management framework
- Provide recommendations and advice to stakeholders regarding compliance requirements
- Manage third-party auditors
- Provide input into a range of strategic and operational documents
- Support the development of compliance tools, policies, process and procedures
- Ad hoc duties as required

This position is paying $130k - $140k + super.

**The Person**
- You will have a post graduate qualification such as CA/CPA/CIA or CISA.
- Prior experience in external or internal audit in a large, complex business and demonstrated experience in influencing stakeholders to address internal control issues.
- You will be passionate about adding value and taking people on a journey which ultimately improves the business.
