Cliftons in Melbourne is seeking motivated and flexible staff to join our back of house event setup team on a casual basis. These opportunities are varied and will suit school / Uni / post-graduate students who are available for varied shifts, predominately between 4pm-9pm weekdays, with some weekend and morning shifts also available.
**Your general responsibilities will include**:
- Participate in daily event room setups within a team of back of house staff, ensuring attention to detail and run sheets are followed accurately
- Ensuring the event rooms and client spaces are clean and highly presentable
- Setting up rooms with our functionally innovative desks and chairs, designed for ease of relocation between event spaces
**To be successful in the role you will ideally have**:
- Previous experience in hospitality, events or warehousing, or willingness to learn
- Basic IT / technical knowledge is desirable (e.g., how to set up a projector)
- Plenty of energy and physical fitness - moving equipment for room setups
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and absorb new information and written procedures
