You will create clear, compelling visual stories to engage, entertain and inform the bank’s customers, general public, shareholders and employees about a range of topics, including banking, social, workplace, economic and other issues.

Our audience and therefore style of videos will vary. Some will be published by Westpac’s unique external news site, Westpac Wire, and associated external channels such as social media. Others will be for internal channels such as the bank’s employee newsroom, employee events and gatherings, internal announcements and the like. As such, this producer will need a keenness to extend across a variety of formats, from short-form bites suitable for social media, same day turnaround for announcements, through to engaging narrative story-telling for longer form production.

- Work closely with the Lead Video Journalist on end-to-end delivery of engaging, creative visual and audio content, which meets the editorial and strategic communication needs of internal Westpac clients. Take a creative approach to briefs from internal stakeholders, as well as pitch great story ideas to the editorial teams, and be supported in creating exciting original content with an editorial lens.
