**What You Will Be Doing**

The Ward Clerk reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the Palliative Care Unit, and is responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception to patients and visitors within the unit. Ensuring a high level of customer service, dealing with administrative priorities and demonstrating positive workplace behaviours and relationships. Additionally, the Ward Clerk provides efficient and effective general clerical support for ward staff, respecting confidentiality at all times.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Sets personal standards of excellence and measures and delivers outcomes in a timely manner
- Communication skills, empathy and resilience
- Demonstrated competency in medical terminology (desirable)
- Previous experience in a health setting (desirable)

- Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers And Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
