**Your Role**
As an EL1 Executive Officer within a busy Division Head Office in CASG, you will provide a broad range of business management, strategic coordination and executive support to the Division Head and other key stakeholders. The role contributes significantly to the Division’s mission in delivering capability for the Australian Defence Force, supporting critical and high-profile bodies of work on behalf of the Division Head. As such, you will be accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex work within a high profile and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities of the roles include:

- Manage and maintain oversight of business administration matters including governance, recruitment, accommodation and financial management.
- Drive accurate, timely and well-considered responses to capability-related taskings, including Government and Ministerial engagements, media and communication activities, and industry and international engagements.
- Provide advice to stakeholders within the Division and more broadly across Defence to achieve optimal outcomes for the Division Head.
- Mentor, support and educate divisional staff members to ensure ongoing quality support to the Division Head, including leveraging Defence networks and other networks to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Build and sustain effective relationships across the Division, Air Domain, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, broader Defence, and with external partner organisations (as required) to support divisional outcomes.
- As a supervisor, provide clear and consistent communication, set clear performance standards, delegate responsibility, manage performance honestly and respectfully and guide and develop people.

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and nurture working relationships to ensure effective information flows
- Possess strong strategic awareness, sound judgement and an ability to effectively guide and advise others (including Senior Executives/Star Ranked Officers).
- Hold or demonstrated the ability to develop knowledge of business management processes - including recruitment, accommodation, and financial management.
- Hold or demonstrated the ability to develop knowledge of Ministerial, Parliamentary and media processes, especially those followed within Defence - including experience using the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS).

**Our Team**
There are roles available within the Offices of the Division Heads of Rotary, Aerospace and Surveillance Systems Division (RASSD) and Air Defence and Space Systems Division (ADSSD). RASSD partners with Defence Industry to acquire and sustain multiple helicopters, fixed wing, uncrewed aerial systems and training systems for the Australian Defence Force. ADSSD partners with Defence Industry to acquire and sustain air defence and air and space surveillance and control capabilities for the Australian Defence Force. The Division Head Offices are responsible for supporting the Division Head and effectively managing their office to ensure divisional operations are appropriately managed.
