**National Director, Construction**
The Global & Corporate segment specialises in the provision of Aon client service delivery to large and complex clients, generally serving the top 500 public and private companies in Australia, including large government clients.
National Director - Construction is a leadership role, both for the industry specialization but also as part of the National Global & Corporate Leadership Team. The role is both strategic and execution focused. You are responsible for developing strategic growth activities within the dedicated industry and contributing to the overall National strategy, ensuring they are executed in your direct team and supported by state teams.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our Aon Australia major capital offices.

**What the day will look like**
As a National Director, you will have an overall revenue and resourcing accountability for your industry team and is accountable for exceptional client service levels and satisfaction across the industry portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Management oversight of a combined portfolio of clients within the industry
- Collaborating with State leaders to manage and grow industry within a state/region
- Develop and Execute segment strategies alongside the National leadership team, Head of Global & Corporate and COO to drive revenue growth and profit for dedicated industry
- Jointly accountable for revenue performance and client profitability in the industry team
- Jointly responsible for revenue performance in the state/region with the State Directors relating to your specific industry team
- Accountable for client service levels and satisfaction across the industry portfolio
- Jointly responsible with State Directors for client service levels and satisfaction across the state/regional relating to clients within your industry team
- Accountable for New/New sales in your industry with Business Development teams
- Accountable for New/Existing solution line sales to meet targets, responsible for overall portfolio growth
- Accountable for execution of Aon’s best practice operational standards in our Aon United Blueprint
- Oversight of Aon matrix management and resolving any internal issues escalated within the segment
- Align the People Strategy to the business strategy and ensure joint ownership by all People Leaders, including the following:
- Goal setting and PMA reviews
- Employee Engagement
- Talent Review (inc. Succession plans)
- Remuneration reviews
- Development planning
- Responsible for ensuring the industry team complies with Aon’s Risk Management processes and compliance with Aon’s policies
