Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Worker Level 3 for a permanent part time position within our Multi Agency Response Centre (CCMARC) team.

This is a critical role in leading the District's partnership work with key agencies such as DCJ in the child protection and child wellbeing response. It also provides the critical link with the NSW Health Child Wellbeing Units for the whole District. The role is essential to lead the district's response and meet our obligations to exchange information, participate in joint planning and response to children at risk of significant harm and their vulnerable families.

The Social Worker in Central Coast Multi Agency Response Centre (CCMARC) utilises advanced clinical skills to assess and advise on the release of health information and participates in the joint assessment and planning of multi-agency response to child wellbeing and protection concerns.
You are a key advocate for contextualising health information and services in the child protection context to assist agency partners in decision making.

You will work closely with government and non-government partners to effectively and efficiently share information and advocate for a coordinated and evidence based response.
You are strong advocates for effective and efficient health responses and have a significant role in navigating care pathways, coordinating effective information exchange within health to inform appropriate responses to vulnerable children and families.
You will work closely with your colleagues and leadership within CCMARC Services and more broadly across the health service to facilitate recovery, integrated and trauma informed care that is holistic and seamless.

Targeted training and development is provided to support the team to be innovative, culturally safe and evidence based to develop and deliver effective and sound interventions that operationalise the NSW Health Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) Framework, Service Standards, Guidelines and relevant Policy and Procedures.

**About You**
- A degree Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers and alignment with relevant professional practice standards.
- Clinical expertise in the area of violence, abuse and neglect with demonstrated high level skills in child protection risk assessment and decision making.
- Understanding of child protection and privacy principles and practice, and a demonstrated knowledge of the legislative context, relevant Acts and NSW Health policies in regard to child protection with particular focus on information exchange in the context of the Child and Young Person (Care and Protection) Act 1998.
- Sound understanding of the NSW health system, its demands and good clinical knowledge in a range of health services e.g. Drug and Alcohol, Emergency Departments, Mental Health, Women Children and Families in relation to child protection presentations.
- Advanced skills in building and sustaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external partners.
