**About the Role**

Reporting to the State Manager | ACT, the Project Coordinator sits in the Major Loss & Specialty team and works alongside our estimators, supervisors, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will work with the broader team to ensure the successful delivery of project schedules, repair methodology, compliance requirements, and budgets and cost effective delivery of projects to our clients. This office based role, located in Phillip, has a strong focus on client service level requirements and delivery time frames. Liaising with all stakeholders ensuring efficient communication and regular updates provides a rewarding opportunity for the Project Coordinator to build long term relationships with clients and customers.

**Key activities (include but not limited to)**:

- Consistent and accurate administration and project management of allocated jobs
- Organisation, scheduling and budgeting of allocated projects working with key stake holders, supervisors, contractors and suppliers
- Cost management and cost control of all contractor and supplier invoices
- Issue Purchase Orders and approve respective invoices in our portal
- Collate photos and other documents for submitting reports and quotations

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Solid project coordination experience in in medium-large domestic and commercial construction
- Understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, required statutory compliance, WHS compliance, building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
- Experience working with clients, building consultants, and all construction related trades and suppliers
- Ability to handle with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

As the insurance building sector is heavily influenced by insurable weather events, overtime is occasionally required as part of the role during these event times to assist in the increased workload.
