**Key Responsibilities**
As a Pharmacy Technician, your tasks will include:
- Referring prescriptions to Pharmacists and assisting in preparing medications.
- Filling and labeling patients’ prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Recording details of, placing orders for, taking stock of, and storing medications and medical supplies and delivering them to patients.
- Managing stock levels and inventory in pharmacies or on wards.
- Compounding products under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assisting with medication audits, reports and reviews.
- Supporting clinical Pharmacists in their routine work, such as screening patients or gathering information for Pharmacist review.
- Managing, coordination and packing our dose administration aids both for nursing homes and the community.
- Operating and maintaining packing and checking machines.
- Manage staff in the packing room and oversee maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Train staff in the dose administration aids area.
- Dispensing medication.
- A Certificate IV in Pharmacy Dispensing or equivalent qualification (highly Preferred).
- Previous experience at least for 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating diagnostic and medical equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
