We’re offering motivated individuals the opportunity to earn a Certificate III in Electrotechnology while gaining hands-on experience at Chain Valley Colliery, an underground coal mine with over 60 years of history

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs of underground mining equipment
- Working with experienced tradespeople in a high-performing team
- Build your career with future development and progression opportunities

**What We’re Looking For**

- You’re driven by achievement, eager to learn, grow your skills and take pride in your results
- You show respect by being a true team player, valuing others and learning from experienced tradespeople
- You feel empowered to give things a go, take initiative, and back yourself to succeed
- You are ready to commit and see the full 4-year program through
- You bring genuine enthusiasm for the electrical trade and the mining industry
- You are a strong communicator who listens well and takes feedback on board
- You hold a current driver’s licence (or working towards it by January 2026)

Located just 60kms south of Newcastle, Chain Valley Colliery is an underground coal mine supplying the neighbouring Vales Point Power Station. With a workforce of over 300, we’ve been a proud part of the local community for decades and are committed to safely and reliably delivering energy to the community today and into the future.
