**The Company**
Our client is a leading food manufacturing company, producing numerous well known brands. The company has a great culture, has a track record of people development and offers numerous employee benefits. It is a well established site, with long standing safety processes.

The company has a need to recruit a highly capable EH&S Advisor. The focus of the EH&S Advisor position will be on both people safety and process safety improvement.

**The Role**

The role will be 70% hands on the floor and 30% in the office, developing the back end safety systems and processes to support the safety program. The role needs someone passionate about safety that is comfortable being on the production floor, building relationships and communicating with key stakeholders (at all levels) within the broader operations team.

The role needs someone engaging that can influence and bring people on the safety journey to drive and build the safety culture. The role needs someone that has a strong understanding of hierarchy of controls and that is strong in risk management and risk assessment (risk based approach).

**Skills & Experience**
- Develop SOP's, undertake Risk Assessments, update Risk Registers, write procedural processes and similar documents, as well as develop and deliver training programs and improve the production line processes.
- Support the injury management (RTW) program by understanding how to prevent injuries and how to create duties that are capable for people that are returning from injury.
- Look at the site safety committee and evaluate how it is performing. The person will need to take ownership of the safety committee and run the safety committee meetings, before looking to re-establish how it will run and who will run the safety committee in the future.
