An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced **Transition and Projects Coordinator** to join our **North Eastern Public Health Unit.**

The North Eastern Public Health Unit (NEPHU) is one of nine public health units in Victoria: three in metropolitan Melbourne and six covering regional Victoria. Together these units form a coordinated network, working in partnership with the Department of Health to deliver a comprehensive public health program for Victoria. The NEPHU is led and coordinated by Austin Health and works in partnership with Northern Health and Eastern Health in a networked operational structure with responsibility spanning approximately 1.85m people living in the northeast of metropolitan Melbourne. The NEPHU is proud of its diverse multidisciplinary team who reflect the community we serve.

Reporting to the Governance and Corporate Support Lead, the Transition and Projects Coordinator will co-ordinate and facilitate NEPHU transition activities and the program of priority projects. The role will work collaboratively with teams across NEPHU to efficiently and effectively deliver public health establishment, transition and quality improvement activity that supports NEPHU development.

**To be successful in this role you must demonstrate**:

Tertiary qualification in public health, project management, business management or related discipline or equivalent experience**:

- **
Demonstrated experience coordinating concurrent establishment and transition initiatives including coordinating to deliver change outcomes involving external stakeholders**:

- **
Strong project or program management experience and/or experience coordinating a program of change or quality improvement activity**:

- **
Highly developed written communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate**:

- **
Highly developed organisational and time management skills and proficiency in managing workload, setting priorities, meeting deadlines and managing a number of concurrent tasks and priorities**:

- **
Ability to build networks and work effectively with groups of professionals across a range of roles, levels and organisations**:

- **
Demonstrated experience in project, governance and change management methodologies and tools**
