**About The Position**

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for the Corporations’ procurement strategy and operational framework, ensuring governance practices are adhered to, as well as protecting the Corporations’ interests through efficient and effective contract and risk management. This role will provide leadership to the procurement team ensuring they are well equipped to support the business in the management of operational, strategic sourcing, and contracting activities.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Lead the Corporation’s procurement maturity uplift strategy with effective change management practices.
- Provide procurement and contract management expertise to various stakeholders.
- Establish and support the business with appropriate procurement strategies for a wide range of goods, services and works requirements.
- Lead the implementation of a Source to Contract System.
- Coach and support internal stakeholders through the required procurement lifecycle stages.
- Lead and support the proactive review, renewal and monitoring of all procurement contracts.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure contractual obligations are adhered to.
- Provide day to day management, guidance, coaching, support and workflow planning for all direct reports and ensure they are adequately trained to assist the business effectively and efficiently.
- Manage and monitor compliance to internal policies and procedures in relation to procurement and purchasing processes and provide clear advice on contract governance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance to all relevant State Government procurement policies and act as the primary point of contact with Department of Finance for all procurement matters.

**About You**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- MCIPs (or working towards) preferred.
- Extensive experience within a Procurement and Supply Chain environment.
- Previous experience of the Western Australian Procurement Rules and/or working for a government trading entity (GTE) is an advantage.
- Prior procurement experience in a manufacturing environment also advantageous.
