**The Role**: Transport Coordinator
As a Transport Coordinator, you'll be operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, focusing on collaboration and ensuring the seamless flow of supply to our valued customers. Your core responsibilities will encompass timely, accurate, and efficient processing and settlement of local and interstate transport invoices. You will diligently verify, investigate, approve, and post accurate invoices in our Concur system for all transport providers.
Additionally, your role will involve collecting and analyzing crucial transportation and customer data to optimize our service to customers. You'll also play a key part in maintaining and updating our national transport databases for management's reporting and cost analysis purposes. Occasionally, you may need to schedule drivers, coordinate deliveries, build loads, and ensure compliance with COR (Chain of Responsibility) laws and regulations.
Working in close partnership with the National Transport Manager, your role will provide crucial administrative support to the transport team, covering daily activities such as customer service support to our store network, assisting in transport and shipping operations, as well as scheduling and coordinating home deliveries.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Demonstrated ability to drive change through process improvement initiatives
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong ability to work autonomously
- Awareness of and ability to implement chain of responsibility regulations
- Competence in securing and handling cargo, as well as loading and unloading
- Degree in transportation or related fields, including supply chain and Chain of Responsibility would be an advantage
- Functional knowledge of supply chain operations
- Excellent organizational skills and adept at multitasking
- Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
