We are seeking a Corporate Finance Senior Analyst**, **who will be responsible for providing high-quality analysis and insights, building and reviewing financial models, information gathering and processing, preparing presentations and project support to contribute to the delivery of strategic initiatives.
To be successful in this role will require the ability to problem solve, to evaluate large amounts of data and information related to market conditions, to summarize strategy and scenarios in a power point or excel worksheets, to develop relationships, and to work collaboratively with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide analytical support and conduct both qualitative and quantitative research;
- Design and build financial models to assist with business valuations, planning and scenario & sensitivities analysis to inform stakeholders of viable solutions and options;
- Establishing benchmarks and measuring projects against these benchmarks;
- In-depth financial due diligence;
- Preparation of reports, including due diligence reports and other internal documentation;
- Support the development of business cases;
- Manage own time to deliver on and contribute to work priorities that support the delivery of various projects;
- Evaluate whether separate initiatives are aligned with centralised corporate strategy;
- Provide high quality, detailed objective analysis and advice within specified timeframes;
- Develop a knowledge of various workstreams and work flexibly across priorities as required to deliver key outcomes;
- Assist with development of financial forecasts and scenarios for various Viva Energy business units;
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure outcomes are achieved through collaboration and are aligned with the business’ expected outcomes. Consult with management and suggest improvements based on analysis performed
**Skills**
- Excellent written, oral and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis skills and financial literacy
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI
- High degree of computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
- Strong commercial acumen
- Highly organised
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, economics, finance or related discipline
- 7+ years’ experience in a Corporate Finance
- Financial analysis
- Financial, economic or strategic modelling
- Market and data research
