The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator who will provide exceptional delivery, storage, and visitor registration services to the NGV, with a strong focus on business continuity, service excellence, safety, and security.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Security Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of NGV delivery, storage and visitor registration services, and associated systems, processes, and resources, to ensure they meet the needs of the Gallery. Other key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the development and implementation of a scheduled delivery model to ensure coordinated, timely, safe and secure deliveries of artworks and general goods in current and future NGV facilities.
- Coordinating deliveries to and from NGV art and goods loading dock at NGV International and NGV Australia, in collaboration with the Facilities and Operations team. Coordinating the use of onsite and offsite NGV (non-artwork) storage facilities.
- Supporting the implementation of a new visitor registration and induction process, to manage visitors and contractors, and provide online site inductions.
- Liaising with Gallery teams to ensure the efficient and effective use of operational storage spaces and with the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation project partners to facilitate loading dock access and traffic management during construction works.
- Monitoring and reviewing services provided and identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the services.

You constantly look for continuous improvement opportunities and ways to innovate and takes responsibility for correcting problems promptly. You will have high attention to detail and accuracy, make specific changes in work methods to improve outcomes, quality and timeliness of services and monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction. You collaborate, plan and prioritise work to ensure outcomes are achieved and support others in time management of their tasks.

Experience with delivery or logistics management software and deliveries or logistics management qualification would be well regarded.
