As a Warehouse Manager you’ll be an integral part of our Event & Logistics team that are responsible for warehouse management and logistics, you’ll report to our Operations Manager. You’ll work closely with the team to manage stock and logistics from our warehouse, as well as on site at our events. This role is the backbone of our operations and you’ll work with different EFG projects around the world to make sure that we meet the operational requirements.
**Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute logistics coming in and out of Melbourne warehouse.
- Build a good and efficient collaboration with our internal warehouses within the EFG group.
- Coordinate orders for shipments of equipment for the event ordered by the various departments and project teams.
- Prepare equipment for departure in accordance with each, unique order.
- Verify equipment when returning from events, reporting on defects.
- Plan and lead the logistics on-site at events and in our studio. Setup logistic plans and lead both internal and external staff to ensure smooth setup and execution.
- Keep the warehouse in proper order, receiving and sending transportations.
- Support with maintaining warehouse inventory, and keep relevant systems up to date.
- Find cost effective logistics and ship solutions that meet company needs.
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers.
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse management and logistics.
- Strong ability to supervise experienced vendors.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Adaptability to work within an environment of frequently changing priorities.
- Ability to be proactive and problem-solve issues when they arise.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in English language, both spoken and written.
- Drivers License is a requirement.
- Ability to travel to a global event on a quarterly basis.
