We are currently looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our team based in Balcatta in a permanent full-time position. Reporting to the General Manager of Learning & Talent Development, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training to new and existing employees on a national basis alongside our current L&D Specialist.

**About the role**:
As an L&D Specialist, you will facilitate training across a variety of fields with a focus on practical leadership development for our site-based leaders. You will deliver training via various methods such as face-to-face classroom style training and training via Microsoft Teams. Therefore, being flexible to travel to our regional sites to implement training solutions is a requirement for this role.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Ensure training and assessment records are processed timely and accurately
- Plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate training for internal stakeholders
- Develop, adapt and refine training materials/programs/guides to ensure content is current
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness
- Provide onsite support and coaching on contract compliance, best practice service delivery, soft skills and performance issues
- Conduct all business in line with the Quality Principles and organisational standards
- Contribute positively to the organisation's culture, own self-development and WHS

**Who are we looking for?**

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Operations Trainer to help deliver engaging training to our workforce and work with stakeholders to support their training needs to maintain a strong safety culture. You can demonstrate:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role is essential
- Flexibility to work a variety of days/hours
- Flexibility to travel to our regional sites (requiring some overnight stays as needed)
- Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment (upgraded TAE40110 or TAE40116) is preferred, or we will train for the right applicant
- A passion for training and developing people
- Training or practical experience in a fast-paced hospitality and/or FIFO environment
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
- Willing to gain experience in supporting continuous improvements in processes and procedures
- A motivated & driven ‘Make it Happen’ attitude
