**Job Description**:

Sodexo are seeking a suitably qualified** Commercial Specialist **to join our team at our Regional Support Centre based in Balcatta, Perth.
The Commercial Specialist is a member of both the IFMS Operations and IFMS Finance teams and is accountable for the financial integrity of accounts, processes, and systems. (Including but not limited to revenue and labour management, cost control, contract interpretation, financial analysis and reporting. This role ensures site adherence to national controls, policies, procedures, provides guidance, support and risk management to the IFMS Operations team with regards to commercial and financial matters.
The Commercial Specialist will establish strong relationships and partner with key stakeholders in the IFMS business aimed at embedding the customer centric culture by identifying opportunities for standardized service offerings and continuous improvement projects.
**Main Assignments**
- Provide relevant evaluation and analysis of operational site performance in order to optimize profitability and efficiencies
- Build strong relationships with operational and shared service teams to ensure that data provided is utilised to benefit the overall performance of the contract.
- Provide support in costs management with a particular focus on labor costs/ direct costs analysis
- Supervise the headcount reporting, monitor the manning dashboard system,
- Review site wage cost control and timesheet procedures and implement processes to streamline and control procedures.
- Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to the IFMS business including analysis and insight of data provided.
- Work with the support departments to deliver timely and accurate reporting to the operations teams and business units to ensure the business has relevant data to make decisions and meet budgetary KPI requirements
- Using quantitative techniques to analyze data and make decisions and recommendations.
**Qualifications**:
- Min 5 years’ experience in commercial / accounting based roles Experience preferable in remote site or multi-service industry.
- Commercial / Accounting degree qualification
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Exposure to contract management is a plus.
- Demonstrable strong analytical skills, careful attention to detail and investigative mindset
