**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

Due to experiencing an increase in work, we are currently expressing interest for experienced Disability Support Workers to support a range of High care NDIS participants. Roles will include in-home care and community access activities. Suitability of roles will be based upon skills and experience with locations based throughout Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.

Roles will range from 15 to 38 hours per week and are on a casual on-going basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily assistance and personal care support to participants such as personal hygiene, bathing and grooming
- Assist with community access activities such as shopping and recreational activities
- Domestic duties such as cooking and cleaning
- Assist with personal development and achieving the goals set in out the client's plan
- Provide emotional support where needed
- Provide support to client's families when needed
- Medication administration

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Completed a minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support
- Must have a driver's licence and reliable transport
- Experience with bowel therapy (required)
- Experience with catheter management
- Experience supporting high care participants (required)
- Experience with epilepsy & seizure management (desired)
- Experience with challenging behaviours
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Yellow and blue card
- Current COVID 19 Vaccination
- Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
- Reliable and proactive
