THE ROLE
The Employee Communication function sits within the Corporate Affairs team at Origin and is responsible for Origin-wide employee communication.
- Lead channel improvement projects with a specific focus on infrastructure and effectiveness.
- Support the strategic planning, development and delivery of digital communication channels (e.g. social media, intranets) to support effective Origin-wide communication.
- Provide expert advice, support and training as well as thought leadership and advocacy to deepen digital communications and channels insights across Employee Communications and the wider business.
- Support the Employee Communication team, and broader business, to build their capability in using key channels/tools and channel purpose.
- Support the business with key Origin-wide events and building an internal network of producers, in partnership with EC Manager (Channels).
- Lead the development of our measurement and reporting dashboards, including channels and communication effectiveness.
- Oversee the development of more effective channels and comms processes to support us in developing a best in class function. This includes developing channel style guides, team resources and tools.
IS THIS YOU?
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have great all round technical skills, love exploring new digital channels, understand importance of reaching employees effectively, excellent stakeholder management skills, a proven track record of multi-tasking. As a new role in the team, you’ll need to be proactive in your approach, manage through ambiguity and desire to make you rmark. You will ideally have Graduate or Post-Graduate qualifications in Communication, Digital Marketing or Business.
Through the work you have undertaken, you will be able to demonstrate:
- 3+ years’ experience in developing and managing communication channels.
- Strong experiences with Microsoft 0365 and capability across different digital channels.
- Solid all-round digital comms experience
- Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to deliver to tight deadlines while managing conflicting priorities.
- Experience developing content that will inspire, motivate and increase employee engagement across the business.
- Demonstrated resilience, flexibility, and ability to lead through ambiguity.
