**Job Description**:
**About the Role**

As part of our same day Courier department located at Rosehill, you will be responsible for optimising the productivity of the courier fleet, allocation of ad-hoc courier services on your channel to ensure that we meet our customer's expectation of Quality service, meet individual job delivery time expectations, resolving driver issues and communicate in a timely manner with contract centre operators as required.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- ** Despatch -** Responsible for the timely allocation of same day metropolitan courier pick-ups through computerised despatch system to our sub contractor delivery partners.
- ** Follow up -** Ensure delivery partners are maintaining service standards and operational procedures, and that delivery partners are achieving expected daily earnings.
- ** Communication **with delivery partners
- Timely communication and job issue resolution with our sub contractor delivery partners.
- ** Communication **with our call centre team members - provide timely feedback concerning job delays or issues to enable timely resolution.
- ** On Time job delivery performance** - Monitor individual jobs to ensure on time delivery performance.
- ** Reporting** - Achieve daily DIFOT performance targets to meet customer service levels.

- Previous transport allocation experience is essential, preferably in a same day courier environment.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.

- MS Excel & Word at Intermediate level
- Excellent communication skills
- Industry experience in local direct delivery, working with contract carriers and taxi trucks
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and self-organise in a fast-moving environment
