Sydney, Australia WCA HVAC&R Full time

**Position Summary**:We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, repair, and maintain various air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing maintenance problems, performing warranty services, and handling emergency repairs. You will be required to attend various sites and carry out general air conditioning and refrigeration unit installations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide advice and direction to other workers in your area.

Deliver time-critical, efficient, and reliable service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Complete work within appropriate timeframes while maintaining high productivity.

Be responsible for tools, consumables, and spare parts.

Keep company vehicles clean and tidy if assigned one.

Report progress and any potential obstacles to the Supervisor.

Discuss work schedules and technical issues promptly with the Supervisor.

Complete and submit job cards and time sheets promptly.

Contribute ideas for process improvements and strive for continuous improvement.

Communicate effectively with staff and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Work safely, adhering to WCA HVAC&R policies and procedures, and follow customers' policies when working off-site.

Standard working hours are 38 hours per week with flexible working times between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Overtime may be required to meet customer demands.

**Selection Criteria**:To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
Refrigeration/HVAC trade certificate III and trade experience

Experience in fault finding on various refrigeration systems, including direct expansion and intermediate cooling

Experience in maintenance and service on chilled water, condensed, and hot water systems

Experience with BMS Systems

Knowledge of Danfoss, ABB VSDs

Current driver's license

National Refrigerant Handling License

Occupational Health and Safety Construction Induction Card

Working at Heights certification

Restricted Electrical Workers License (Refrigeration Air Conditioning)

Ability to read electrical, installation diagrams, manuals, and refrigeration schematic drawings

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Initiative, a strong work ethic, and professional presentation

**Desirable Qualifications**:
Working at Heights certification

First Aid certification

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: On the road
