Reporting the Training Institute Manager, this role will focus on supporting the planning, coordination and implementation of the learning framework that enhances the competencies and skills of employees across the group. To work closely with training providers to ensure that learning activities meet the organisation’s objectives and improve employee competencies. Based at the CMV Truck & Bus Training Institute in Derrimut, this full-time role involves regular travel to metropolitan and regional dealerships including attending school career fairs, career and truck expos. Employee Benefits - An attractive salary package, including fully maintained company car, mobile phone and laptop. - CMV Paid Parental Leave, Volunteer Days and Study Leave - State of the art dealership with on-site gym, parking and a subsidised café - Focus on your wellbeing with CMV Care including access to discounted fitness programs and the CMV Peer Support Program. - Discounted Corporate Income and Health Insurance through multiple partners to suit your individual lifestyle. - Opportunities to support community partnerships with our Group CMV Foundation - Enjoy annual company dinners and picnics Key functions of the role - Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other development activities such as course enrolments. - Manage logistics such as booking venues, arranging equipment, and coordinating with trainers or facilitators. - Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials, presentations, and online resources. - Support the delivery of training programs, including virtual and in-person sessions - Communicate with employees about upcoming training opportunities and respond to related inquiries. - Maintain an inventory of training resources, including training manuals, e-learning modules, and video content. - Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and accessible - Support the implementation of L&D pathway strategies and initiatives that align with business goals such as attendance at careers fairs and training information sessions. - Gather feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs. - Target schools within proximity of CMV Truck & Bus locations; meet with Career Advisors and attend career days to promote CMV Truck & Bus and potential employment opportunities. - Assist with the recruitment of apprentices and support the organization of information nights for potential applicants. - Assist in analysing training outcomes and recommending improvements. - Track employee participation in training programs and maintain accurate records in the Learning Management System (LMS). - Work closely with Marketing and P&C departments, key stakeholders and external training providers to support competency based training activities. - Participate in L&D projects and provide administrative support as needed - Schedule regular visits to business sites to maintain sound relationships with key stakeholders. Skills & experience - Strong project management skills and attention to detail - A can-do, proactive approach with a focus on quality execution and outcomes - Excellent relationship building skills and comfort engaging with a range of stakeholders - Strong written communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail. - Adaptability and flexibility in a complex, changing environment - Sound skills in excel and reporting systems - Cert IV in Training & Assessment (preferred, but not essential) If you have the skills and experience necessary and want to become an important part of our successful team then please click "Apply" to submit your cover letter and resume.
