- Due to our continued growth and project pipeline, there is an opportunity for a Statutory Planner to join our APAC Planning team.
- Our team is made up of a group of highly skilled and motivated Planners with an enthusiastic approach to life and work. We currently service a pipeline of projects within the commercial, health and sustainable energy sectors. With the majority of our 20+ Planning team based in Newcastle NSW, we are looking to expand our operations in the VIC region to provide greater availability and access for our clients.
- Based out of the SLR Melbourne office, and overlooking the MCG, this is an exciting opportunity for a planning consultant, who is looking for a change to join an expanding team with broad client base.Key Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**
- Planning analysis and research and confident in delivering exceptional results
- Managing projects without direct supervision
- Liaising with clients, councils, consultants & other government agencies
- Compiling of DA lodgment packages
- Experience working across multi-disciplinary projects within a consulting environment
- Business development and high-level client relationship management

**Skills and experience**
Not only will you bring a great attitude and enthusiastic approach to your work, you will also have:

- A degree in town planning or equivalent
- Ideally you will have 2-4 years working experience within a consulting business with direct experience in a town planning, property, development
- Excellent report writing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The want to develop our strong team culture and build lasting internal relationships
