- Join a small specialist team of planners and lawyers in the Planning and Environment Division supporting Members with effective case management.
- Work closely with the Deputy Presidents and Members to improve procedures in the Planning and Environment Division.

**About the role**

The role presents an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in planning and environment appeals.

As a Specialist Registrar, you will:

- Correspond with Tribunal users, including to provide procedural advice and resolve escalated queries.
- Contribute to the development and reform of the division's processes.

The position reports to Specialist Registrar and Principal Case Manager and will focus on cases in the division's review jurisdiction, including reviews of Council decisions under the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

**About you**

We are looking for an experienced planning or legal professional who has:

- Knowledge of the Victorian statutory planning system, the Planning and Environment Act 1987, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998, and associated regulations.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in planning o law.
