Jacobs is seeking an
**NV1 cleared Systems Engineer/Designer** for design of systems modules related to Defence Joint Cyberspace Operations Mission Systems (JCOMS) for the Deployed Environments.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Design and develop Defence Cyber warfare systems through the Defence Capability Life Cycle
- Developing and maintaining local JCOMS R&D environment
- Define infrastructure architecture and dependencies with existing and new systems
- Engage with key stakeholders and shape the direction of the system’s integration with ADF platforms and systems
- Coordinate with the project development and testing teams
- Review JCOMS software and hardware requirements and other related documentation
- Build and sustain productive and collaborative working relationships including professional development of team members

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
- Background as a system designer on medium to large size projects
- Strong Defence background and Systems Engineering background
- Experience with Linux operating systems and Windows Server environments
- Demonstrated experience in the administration and support of enterprise-level security technology platforms
- Familiarity with the ASD Essential 8 security recommendations
- Generic to advanced cyber training
- Australian citizenship and an NV1 clearance at a minimum
