We’re seeking a dynamic Commercial Partner to join our VIC State Logistics Operations team. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with the Head of Commercial to drive business strategy and achieve commercial outcomes that fuel sustainable growth. **In this Role** - Lead transformation and business improvement initiatives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. - Monitor and review supply chain performance, identify opportunities for out-performance, and implement strategic actions to deliver outcomes. - Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support the delivery of business objectives. - Contribute to the development of long-term financial and capital plans, supporting major supply chain investments. **You’re Likely a Match If*** - 7+ years of commercial/business experience, ideally in Supply Chain, Wholesale, or Retail. - Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive continuous improvement. - A collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder management skills. **Life at Metcash** Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
