Grainery Lane is the new Distillery and restaurant in Ballarat's CBD. We make our own bespoke spirits, including gin, vodka, rum and whiskey. These spirits will be paired with food that will change with the seasons, small plates inspired by East Asia and South American flavours.

This Venue Manager position will allow you the opportunity to live in a vibrant city that offers affordable living, great schools, health services and accessibility to Melbourne and the Surfcoast.

Grainery Lane is a sister venue to Roy Hammond, Aunty Jacks and Hop Temple. Providing a large supportive team to learn and grow from.

A fantastic opportunity for a tree change to Ballarat, with a progressive and professional hospitality team.

Qualifications & experience
- Experience in the hands on, day to day operations of hospitality venues
- Ability to be adaptable and responsive to customer needs.
- Well organised, with a passion for hospitality and delivering a unique and memorable experience to customers.
- A team player and a team builder

Tasks & responsibilities
- Head distillery operations, retail and venue experiences
- Implement tourism product offers effectively
- Responsible for the day to day operations in a hands on role
- Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures
- Responsible for the smooth, efficient running of the venue
- Focus on maintaining and building a great team
