
Paid Audience Analyst

NewsCorp Australia is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join its Editorial Innovation Centre as a Paid Audience Analyst.
The Analyst will work closely with Editorial and Consumer Teams, including (but not limited to) the National Media Team, social media editors, key editorial and executive stakeholders to distribute high quality journalism across digital media channels. The role will work alongside the Paid Social Media Specialists within the Editorial Innovation Centre (EIC) and report to the Audience Development Manager.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative and evolving team inside Australia’s largest media organisation.
**Responsibilites**
- To engage and convert off-platform digital audiences via the amplification of high-quality journalism across various digital media channels.
- To work closely with partnering divisions to ensure promoted journalism is of the highest quality and is well suited to the nominated target audiences.
- To provide key insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders around content performance via weekly and monthly reports.
- Extract data regularly (often daily) from various media platforms in an effort to analyse performance and perform regular quality assurance checks to ensure all campaigns are live and serving.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders from both Consumer and Editorial divisions.
- Manage the day-to-day activities associated with digital paid channels (Meta, Google, Reddit, Linkedin, etc) based on products within the nominated portfolio.
- Have the ability to lead the existing team members in the absence of the Audience Development Manager and step in to take on necessary tasks as required.
**Who are you?**
- At least 2 years experience in Digital Media or similar roles. Channel experience and/or social media experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and your organisation and time management skills will be second to none.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- A process-driven nature, and be a structured and methodical individual with excellent collaboration skills.
- A passion for the media industry.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment whilst remaining efficient and accurate.
- The ability to work under pressure on a daily basis and meet strict deadlines.
- A willingness to be part of a team that prides itself on culture and teamwork, whilst also being capable of working autonomously and without excessive supervision.
- The ability to remain positive and be agile in an effort to work within the objectives of the wider business. A broad mindset is essential.
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Great stakeholder management skills which can be leveraged to produce successful outcomes.
