The purpose of APRA Remediation Tribe is to address multiple issues that make it difficult to run the Business Lending part of ANZ Bank well, and to ultimately make great business lending experiences possible for our business customers. Our aim is to provide our customers with simple, industry-leading business lending solutions, quickly, reliably and cost-effectively that support great outcomes for all our stakeholders. One of the key programs of work within the tribe is the Commercial Lending Platform program that seeks to design, develop and implement a new business lending origination process which will uplift customer (Cx) and banker (Bx) experience.
What will your day look like
Deliver the fit-for-purpose and high-quality data to support group & divisional projects within required deadline.
Hands on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding and data modelling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques.
Must be good at Data transformation, the creation of QVD files and set analysis.
Develop solution data models and requirements for service entry and exit points to support the ETE data requirements of the lending securities process i.e., storing, managing, maintaining the securities from a data perspective.
Source data from a variety of platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) to combine, synthesise and analyse to generate insights of current state processes and solutions
Work with the Engineering team to support the development of the solution
Work through the requirements / design for the migration of data from the existing to future solution
Understand the end-to-end analytics journey and enhance it by pushing new data and designing / delivering insights
Make sound and timely decisions and ability to re-prioritise work in response to identified risks
Passionate and energetic, able to balance hard work with fun
Adopt the agile approach to deliver with data processes & scripts being well documented, standardised, scalable & repeatable if required
Ensure adherence to ANZ policies, processes and external regulatory and legislative requirements
What will you bring?
Proficiency with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, QlikView / Qlik sense)
Proficient Teradata, Oracle or SQL Server programming skills, analysing and manipulating the data.
Self-motivated and proven record of delivery under the pressure
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues
Solid experience within data warehouse concept and development, banking and consulting industry experience are a plus.
Experience in Python/Cloud/Data science/Clod based technology (AWS, GCP etc.) is a plus
Ability to define, plan and execute testing of data
A growth mindset and desire to continually learn and share new techniques and ideas
