As a Sales Support Consultant, you will provide regional sales support to the MineStar solutions sales team. You will work with regional sales reps, dealers, and their customers to grow the MineStar for the underground business. Additional responsibilities of this role will be to assist in the preparation and delivery of technical sales presentations and demos to dealers and their customers. You will be accountable for achieving sales targets within the assigned region. You will also be responsible for analyzing the territory market opportunities and trends to assist in the development of the annual business plan, Dealer growth plans, and marketing plans. You will work together with commercial support and product teams to develop commercial offers and programs. Additionally, you may be involved in trade and customer association events as well as other activities to assist in the execution of the product strategy.

**Job Duties**:

- Provide regional sales forecasts for existing and new products.
- Collect regional Voice of Customer and competitive intelligence for use in product development.
- Develop campaigns to further sales of MineStar for underground in the assigned territory.
- Assist with dealer-led opportunities.
- Assist in preparing Responses to RFPs.
- Provide sales training to sales reps and their dealers.
- Support events & customer sales visits.
- Accountable for sales targets by region for the MineStar for the underground product.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in mining.
- Experience with underground mining processes.
- High-level Understanding of IP networks, radio communications, and onboard machine technology systems.
- Ability to work in remote mining areas.
- Excellent PC and IT skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Account management skills.
- Sales and presentation experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers to explain the product in a technical manner during sales presentations.
- Caterpillar dealer experience.
- Experience with operational technology systems.

**Additional information**:

- The preferred locations for this position is Brisbane, QLD, Perth, WA, Melbourne VIC or Burnie, TAS.
- This position may require 50% travel.
