Partner - Geo Market Head Australia Pacific

Role Purpose:
- This is a leadership role focused on developing and maintaining a dynamic, inclusive team culture and spearheading, defining and executing Control Risks sales and marketing strategy in the Australia Pacific geo-market
- By providing clear direction and inspirational leadership, the aim of this role is to ensure the consulting teams have a supportive platform to deliver high margin, innovative work and all client engagement activity undertaken by client-facing colleagues in the geo-market is focused, co-ordinated and aligned with our strategic objectives ultimately resulting in the development of new business and the achievement of our commercial goals
- This role includes responsibility for representing the Australia Pacific geo-market on the Asia Pacific Regional Executive Committee, including on financial reporting, risk management and compliance matters
- Ultimately, this role is responsible for realising the full potential of the geo-market - the primary objective is to ensure the right conditions and environment are set for all client-facing staff to deliver the sales needed in the geo-market to reach income targets. This includes ensuring there is positive collaboration between the Australia Pacific business and all other key markets regionally and globally in order to optimise profitable client relationships.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
**Strategy**
- Develop and implement the business development strategy across Australia Pacific, influencing and working with the Asia Pacific Regional Executive and the wider Global Partner group to maximise success and alignment across all business areas
- Reinforce a client-centric and client-solutions culture across the geo-market
- Promote Control Risks in Australia Pacific to ensure the company is consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
- Reinforce status as a provider of choice by being seen as a thought leader on strategic risk matters in Australia Pacific, working collaboratively with the Service Line Heads for the Asia Pacific region
- Gather intelligence on clients’ operations and on major new projects of interest to ensure opportunistic and informed business development
**Leadership**
- Serve as the office head, ensuring the effective, efficient and compliant running of the office and serving as the escalation point and in-country support and advice for all business enabling functions.
- Lead from the front in sales, market development and account management, driving a culture of business development and high performance in Australia Pacific
- Ensure commercial opportunities are optimised and run smoothly
- Be the representative for Australia Pacific on the Asia Pacific Regional Executive Committee and proactively contribute to the wider regional agenda prioritising commercial opportunities
**Business development and client management**
- Support the origination of sales and fee-earning opportunities from within the geo-market through both direct (personal) sales and enabling other senior client facing colleagues to originate sales within the geo-market
- In collaboration with Partners and business leaders, drive innovative profitable client solutions and business development initiatives, including proactively initiating new client relationships
- Work with the Partner, Markets & Partnerships, Asia Pacific to identify high-impact potential clients and be involved in nurturing them as appropriate
- Work with the Australia Pacific management team to both directly manage individual clients and a portfolio of clients focused on attraction, retention and growth
- In conjunction with Marketing, manage the implementation of the company’s marketing and sales strategy including the networking of clients within the Group
- In conjunction with the Partner, Markets & Partnerships set business development targets that will meet top-line budgeted sales and allow for measurement of team and individual performance
**Business Management**
- Lead the financial reporting for Australia Pacific including circulation of the MMR and overall responsibility for Australia Pacific TDO performance
- Monitor and evaluate top line sales performance in the Australia Pacific geo-market to ensure that the financial return to Control Risks is as planned
- Working with the Service Line Heads:
- ensure widespread compliance with company processes and systems, most particularly CRM and D365, and the company’s profitability tools, and be a champion for their use and their benefit
- monitor risks and report as appropriate (including maintaining the geo-market Risk Register) to the CEO Asia Pacific, HR Director Asia Pacific and Group Risk and Insurance Manager
- ensure that all Control Risks activities are compliant with Australian federal and state laws and regulations
- implement and comply with all Group policies
