**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Study Lead, the Specialist Technology Readiness is accountable for the development and delivery of Technology Readiness scope (work packages) and phase deliverables as directed by the Study Lead and in accordance with the requirements of Minerals Australia Asset Projects (MAAP) Internal Standard.

The Specialist Technology Readiness will achieve project success using approved business objectives within the constraints of scope, time, quality, safety and budget. Highly motivated, with a can-do attitude and successful delivery record, the incumbent will operate effectively within functional matrix organisational structure. A team player, the Specialist Technology Readiness will use their influencing and stakeholder engagement skills to build a high performing team and consistently deliver to their customer’s expectations.

This is a Perth based role with regular travel to site as required to meet project and safety objectives.

In this role you will:

- Develop project strategies to deliver health, safety and business objectives.
- Drive implementation of project delivery plans, methodologies, systems and execution plans, including risk and quality management plans.
- Form and lead teams of project, construction and implementation specialists to deliver project outcomes safely, on schedule and on budget.
- Drive value driven decision making to ensure the project KPI’s are realised.
- Proactively manage external relationships whilst contract awarding, purchasing and/and technical evaluation of bidders.
- Implement positive communication processes to support project and operational outcomes.
- Maintain strong and transparent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

**Responsibilities**:
Key responsibilities are development and delivery of the technical components:

- Management of the Technology Readiness team
- Development and maintenance of technology related project management artefacts (and contributing to others as appropriate).
- Stakeholder (internal and external) engagement and collaboration
- Ensuring compliance to Technology Standards, including Cybersecurity and Technical Architecture requirements
- Developing project technology readiness strategy, design and safe delivery of Technology Readiness work packages (cost, schedule, scopes of work), including
- Foundation Technology - Wired network, wireless network, hosting, facilities and fibre).
- Autonomous Haulage Product (AHP) - Enabling Tech, End User Computing (EUC), AHP Applications, Integration & Reporting, AHP Monitoring, and Supporting Technology.
- Design and commissioning of Site Infrastructure, e.g. GNSS base station and Control Room.
- Ensuring Technology Operational Readiness for handover processing is streamlined with early engagement (Transition to Operations TTO) for all technology work packs including Service Design Packages.
- Management of technology vendors and SOW execution (and where appropriate the relationships and contracts)
- Adherence to BHP Management of Change and Technology Change practices
- Work strategically to overcome project challenges
- Maintain system availability while in Project Commissioning and Support phase

**About You**:

- Project Management experience, preferably via development or delivery of complex, multi-discipline projects. Experience with Mobile Mining Equipment and Operational Technologies would be considered preferable.
- Demonstrated roles where you have been accountable for direct people leadership.
- Advanced ‘Safety Leadership’ expertise with proven commitment to safety and sustainability.
- Leading by example; fortitude to hold yourself and others accountable.
- Mature negotiation, mentoring and coaching skills that support a high performing team built on a learning mind-set.
- Experience of delivering complex operational technology solutions, ideally in an autonomous haulage setting.
