**Role Summary**
Based in Carlton, Victoria, you will be reporting to the Head of Employment Services. You will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Jobs Victoria Employment Services including the Job Victoria Mentors and Jobs Victoria Advocates programs, providing support to the VIC Team Leader and the broader team.
**About this opportunity**
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the employment team across the region to ensure operational and organisational goals are met, job seeker and contractual obligations are achieved, and that financial performance for all sites and whole region is met.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide support and guidance to staff, sites and/or whole region through strategic direction.
- Build community connections and relationships and liaise regularly with external stakeholders.
- Work with the Business Growth team on strategies to improve and increase employment outcomes.
- Regularly represent SSI and promote SSI’s services through regular networking.
- Ensure high level quality service delivery for all job seekers across the regions in line with SSI’s service delivery model, SSI’s policies, and procedures, and JVES contractual guidelines and requirements.
- Ensure financial budgets and performance targets are achieved for the regions.
- Oversee quality management, record keeping, and ensure full compliance with contracts guidelines and be involved in internal and external audits, as required.

**A bit about you**
- Qualifications in Business Management, Leadership, or similar qualification desirable or be willing to work towards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams across multiple sites/regions to successfully deliver high quality customer service, quality and compliance deliverables, and operational outcomes - ideally working in employment services in Victoria.
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in delivering on financial targets, increasing profitability, and achieving business growth.
- High level customer centric approach and the ability to lead teams to achieve customer service standards, KPIs, and targets.
- The ability to show empathy to job seekers and clients.
- Good working knowledge of local, state and national labour markets.
- Effective networking skills.
- Proven business development, sales or marketing ability including excellent communication skills, high level negotiation skills, and persuasive ability.
- Strong ethics, accountability, and integrity.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Criminal Record Check, along with WWCC and be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
