**About The Role**:
**We at InfraBuild**would like to invite recent or soon-to-be graduates to take part in our 2026 Graduate Program as a **Trainee Trader in Chipping Norton, Sydney.**
Real Work with Real Outcomes - Starting in January 2026, our program offers a two-year fixed-term contract with the potential for permanent placement. This immersive, hands-on program provides practical learning through fundamental tasks and meaningful work. Participants will complete two 12-month rotational placements, gaining a comprehensive technical and commercial skills training blend.
The program includes a structured development plan including continuous coaching, mentorship, and formal training, allowing participants to rotate through diverse business units. This structure ensures a thorough understanding of operations and strategic initiatives, combining on-the-job learning with formal education.
As a Trainee Trader, you will have the opportunity to:
- On-the-job learning alongside experienced Traders and leaders
- A structured development plan with regular feedback and formal training
- Mentoring and coaching to help shape your career direction
- Opportunities to contribute to real commercial decisions and customer solutions
- Achieving a formal qualification aligned to your learning journey
- Rotate through business functions including Operations, Sales, and HSE
- Learn to support trading activities, including quoting, customer service, and tender preparation
- Begin to develop your own customer relationships under guidance
- Contribute to safety and compliance initiatives across recycling sites
- Assist in analysing market activity, contracts, and business performance
- Collaborate with teams to improve service delivery and customer outcomes
- Gain insight into how we balance operational safety, cost, and service excellence in a fast-paced environment

Eligibility Criteria:
- Australian/NZ citizenship or a visa granting unlimited working rights.
- Less than two years of full-time, discipline-specific work experience.
- A valid drivers licence
- Any prior experience in sales, operations, manufacturing, waste management, customer service welcomed but not essential.

We provide solutions for commercial and residential construction, large scale and nation-building infrastructure as well as our primary producers and rural sectors.
