**About the role**
- Assist with the delivery of WH&S planning; solutions and coordination.
- Assist with reviewing specific Job Hazard Analyses/Safe Work Method Statements and to represent the company on project specific WHS matters and raise any non-compliance issues via the Construction Management team.
- Review authorisations to ensure that all UGL and sub-contractor personnel are appropriately accredited for safety requirements.
- Assist in the safety assessment of plant and equipment as required.
- Participate in risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses/Safe Work Method Statements, Tool Box Talks and other briefings.

**About You**
- Certificate IV, Diploma and/or tertiary qualifications in WHS or equivalent
- Experience working in construction, rail and mining industries highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
