Healthy Trajectories is a child and youth disability research hub, established in October 2021 as a Melbourne Children's Campus initiative. At Healthy Trajectories, our vision is to optimise the capacity of children and youth with disabilities to reach their full potential for health and participation across their entire lives. As part of our mission, we aim to make a measurable contribution to the National Disability Research Agenda, establish interdisciplinary research programs, and advocate for evidence-based policy and practice changes.

In this role, you will be working on the ENVISAGE-Families project. This project brings together universities, industry partners, and a consortium of experts from across Australia to provide facilitated group workshops for parents and carers of young children aged 0 to 8 years with developmental concerns or newly identified disabilities.

As our National Parent-Peer Officer, you will collaborate with the ENVISAGE Leadership Team and the National Project Manager to support the implementation of the ENVISAGE Families program nationwide. Your focus will be on ensuring the effective working of parent-peer facilitators, enabling them to deliver a high-quality experience to program participants. You will provide support and training to facilitators, foster a collaborative community of practice, and facilitate connections across sites and facilitators.

Additionally, you will play a vital role in administrative, technical, and evaluation activities for the ENVISAGE project, working closely with the project team and the ENVISAGE Leadership Team.

We are particularly interested in applicants with lived experience of disability, as we believe your unique perspective will greatly contribute to the success of our program.

**Your responsibilities include**:
Collaborate with ENVISAGE staff to facilitate knowledge sharing among state-based teams ( parent-peer and project officers), and site-based facilitators
Contribute to the development of workshop materials in partnership with the ENVISAGE Leadership Team, National Project Manager and National Training Manager
Engage effectively with stakeholders across disciplines and sectors, including people with lived experience of disability, service providers and policy makers to build and sustain strong partnerships for mutual benefit and enable delivery and evaluation of the ENVISAGE project
Support the National Project Manager and National Project Officer in the management of subcontractors to facilitate project implementation across Australia, specifically in relation to parent-peer facilitators.

**About you**:
A degree in (but not limited to) Behavioural Science, Social Science or Allied Health; with subsequent relevant experience in research and/or project coordination OR
Demonstrated experience in project coordination and governance relating to project implementation, data management and reporting
Demonstrated effectiveness with time management and an ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and capacity to initiate, manage and maintain partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, including caregivers of children with disability
Lived experience of child-onset disability as a parent, carer or other family member is highly advantageous
