Mental Health Clinician

Location: Ballarat Central, VIC, AU, 3350

**$43.67 to $56.72 per hour (based on discipline and experience) + salary packaging | Mental Health Clinician - Child (RPN, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Psychologist)**

Parental Leave Cover - Full Time Fixed Term until Mid June 2026 | 80 hours per fortnight including a monthly ADO

**About the role**

There is an exciting opportunity within the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service for a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team This role is a full-time secondment leave coverage, with a negotiable commencement date. While this is a full-time position, we also encourage part-time applicants.

**Key Responsibilities**

Undertake comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify the child’s clinical presentation, family needs and/or referral options
. Develop, administer, implement and review clinical treatment plans that target identified biological, psychological, and social needs of people and their families
. Complete regular risk assessments and risk management planning/crisis assessment
. Clinically manage a caseload within a multidisciplinary team that emphasises, practices and continually seeks to improve client-centred, trauma informed, family-inclusive, community based, evidence-based and best practices
. To actively and effectively work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the generic and discipline specific clinical expertise of that multidisciplinary team

**Skills and experience**

You must be able to meet relevant EBA requirements for a mental health clinician in your discipline (Psychologist, OT, Social Worker, RPN)
. Registration with AHPRA or AASW (for social workers
