**Position Summary**:
The Office Coordinator serves as a key administrative support role within our healthcare provider organization. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Office Coordinator will facilitate the efficient operation of the office by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and ensuring that patient services are delivered smoothly and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Administrative Support**:

- Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, including answering phones, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper.
- Prepare and manage documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
- **Patient Interaction**:

- Greet and assist patients and visitors, providing a positive first impression and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues, ensuring patient satisfaction.
- **Scheduling and Coordination**:

- Coordinate and manage the appointment scheduling process for healthcare providers, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
- Assist with the coordination of staff schedules, meetings, and training sessions.
- **Billing and Insurance**:

- Assist with the billing process by processing patient payments, issuing invoices, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits, and assist with pre-authorizations as necessary.
- **Office Management**:

- Maintain office supplies and inventory, placing orders when necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Support compliance with health regulations and organizational policies, keeping the office environment clean and orderly.
- Assist in the implementation of office procedures and best practices.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers, support staff, and patients.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance office operations and patient care.
- **Data Entry and Records Management**:

- Enter and maintain accurate patient data in electronic health record system and databases.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with SIRA regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Excel
- Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

**Working Conditions**:

- Fast-paced office environment within a healthcare facility.
- Interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals on a regular basis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $51,982.03 - $122,137.49 per year

- Monday to Friday
