You’re role at St John of God

This role provides exceptional customer service that ensures the Medical Centre operates efficiently for both doctors and patients in line with our Mission and Values Statement. You will ensure strict Patient Privacy and Doctor Confidentiality are upheld at all times and provide the highest standard of service for patient needs in all areas of service.

The Position
- Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner
- Receive and convey messages in writing, and verbally
- Liaise with doctors, other health professionals and their staff
- Make appointments using electronic diary
- Bill patients and receipt moneys
- Undertake banking procedures
- Operate all aspects of EFTPOS machine
- Fax, scan and file documents
- Prepare documents for mail-out
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities
- Contribute equitably to maintaining the cleanliness of the practice
- Maintain practice dress standards
- Book all DVA Transport when needed
- All batching and on line lodgement of Medicare and DVA bulk claims

Successful applicants will previous reception and frontline customer service experience, proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, can summarise key financial and operational information in a summary report and able to communicate with multiple stakeholders in a professional manner.

We can offer you
- Salary: $64,802 to $66,170 + 11% Superannuation
- Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week
- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
