**PERMANENT PART-TIME ROLE (24 HOURS PER WEEK).**

ADH is the major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi and has long and proud history in health-related service provision to the area, providing medical and surgical care in a wide range of specialities, as well as multiple primary health programs.

The Coordinator Administration will be responsible for the day to day coordination of the administration team and the delivery of customer-focused outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders of Alexandra District Health (ADH).

You will have the opportunity to put your mark on this new role. The successful applicant will have experience coordinating the functions of customer service delivery within the healthcare or similar setting, have a demonstrated experience or ability to coordinate a small team and the ability to train and mentor staff.

The successful applicant will demonstrate exemplary communication skills (written and verbal), will be customer focused, and will exhibit an attention to detail whilst being able to juggle multiple tasks at once and have advanced computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the functions of customer service delivery within the healthcare or similar setting
- Demonstrated experience or ability coordinating a small team
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor staff
- Exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to coordinate tasks to achieve outcomes, manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, work under limited direction and to take initiative
- Ability to deal with complex, confidential and sensitive issues with a high level of tact, discretion and judgement with a sound appreciation of the principles of confidentiality
- Well-developed oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to gain the cooperation of staff and managers
- Proficient computer skills; sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to communicate and interact with a diverse range of people at all levels.

The role is 24 hours per week (0.63 FTE). Flexible work arrangements are supported at Alexandra District Health, flexible hours will be considered.
